Parents,
Wethersfield and Annawan School Districts were made aware of a post on the non-school affiliated football barstool page that contained a series of pictures. This post was in reference to tomorrow’s football game and that it is “almost Friday.” Among the pictures was an old picture of a student holding a gun. Because of the picture, the post was reported to the police, the student that made the post has been identified, the post has been removed, and it has been determined that it was not intended as a threat to either school.
If you have children in your home that utilize social media, please take this as an opportunity to discuss with them what is appropriate and what is inappropriate to post on their platforms.

High School Volleyball: The volleyball match at Henry on Tuesday, September 10 will begin at 5:30 with varsity to follow.
Junior High Softball - The games scheduled with Monmouth-Roseville tomorrow (9/7) will now start at 11:00.

Junior High Baseball: The baseball game at ICS on Thursday (9/5) will be played next to Citizens Lake in Monmouth. It is located by the intersection of highway 34/67 bypass and high way 164. Game will be played on the south field.
Family Passes: If you purchased a family pass this year and would like additional passes for other family members, please call or stop in the high school office.

High School Football: Tonight's (8/30) varsity football game versus the South Fulton Rebels will be livestreamed by going to www.geese230.com and click on "Live stream" button below the picture on the homepage. The game will also be simulcasted on the Victor E. Goose Facebook page.
JH Softball - Today's (8/28) game will be now be played in Williamsfield.
Due to air-conditioning issues at school and the expected heat today, Annawan Schools will be dismissing at 1:50 (8/27). There will be no afternoon preschool. Please plan accordingly. We apologize for any inconvience.

The JH baseball game with Galva and the JH softball game with United have been postponed due to high heat index. Makeup dates TBD. Pictures are still on for today.
High School golf meet has been cancelled. No golf practice today.
