Volleyball Officials Clinic: The Illinois Valley Volleyball Officials Association (IVVOA) and NWIVOA will be hosting an IHSA Level 0, 1 and 2 on Sunday, Feb 27th at Mendota High School from 12-4 pm. This clinic will satisfy the IHSA requirement for volleyball officiating. The cost of the clinic is $25 for non-members, $20 for members and $10 for high school or college students (Level 0 only). Doors will open at 11:15 for registration. Snacks will be provided. Please bring a whistle with you. For anyone not currently a licensed IHSA volleyball official but interested in learning the Level 0 portion of the clinic, this is for you. If you are at least 17 years old, love the sport, want to become a part of a friendly profession and earn extra money doing so, then volleyball officiating is for you. There will be a breakout group specifically for brand new officials, those yet to sign up but have an interest in what it involves and those returning from a hiatus to better educate and prepare you for your first match. The Annawan School District will have a special meeting on Thursday, February 10th at 5pm in the media center. The only agenda item will be the discussion on Covid mitigation for the school district. The Appellate Court's decision could effect the board's ability to act. The district appreciates your support during this challenging time.

The Annawan School District will be hiring a new custodian and bus driver for the 2022-2023 school year. The candidate will be paid for approximately 40 hours per week (combined custodian and bus driver duties). This opening is a result of an upcoming retirement and would begin as early as June 1, 2022.
