Sports Physical Update: The free sports physicals will not be offered on Wednesday, May 7. The new date is Tuesday, May 13 from 2:00 - 3:00 at the school. These physicals are for next year's athletes going into 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12 grade. Students going into 6th and 9th grade will need to have a School Physical on an Illinois State form. Physical forms are available in the offices or can be found here. --> https://5il.co/3f9oh Forms are due back to the office by Monday, May 12.

Paige Sierens was selected as A 2025 Candidate for the 2025 - 2026 Illinois FFA Major State Officer Team. Sierens is a member of the Annawan FFA Chapter of the Illinois Association FFA. Sierens is the daughter of Beth and Gary Sierens from Annawan. Sarah Paige Tarr is the agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor at Annawan High School. Earning this distinction of being named one of the ten candidates now makes Sierens eligible to be elected one of the five Illinois FFA Major State Officer positions of President, Vice-President, Reporter, Secretary, or Treasurer at the 97th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield, IL beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Come join us for our annual Open House on Thursday, May 1st. The students have many activities and projects on display. Doors will open at 6:00 and will close at 7:00. This includes grades Preschool-8th grade! Don't forget to stop by the grade school gym to see the 4th grade recorders and 5th grade band perform at 6:45. The last day of school will be Thursday, May 22nd with a 1:30 dismissal. Please mark your calendar on the time change. The high school will dismiss at 1:30 due to finals so the rest of the school will follow the same dismissal of 1:30!

Last night, the newly seated Annawan School Board officially began its term. We are pleased to welcome one new member, Rima Mounsef, to the Board.
