Annawan girls basketball team has been nominated for the FM 95 Hometown Heroes of the Week award! This is a community voted award, with the winning team for the week moving on for a chance at $1,000 for their high school's athletic department when we wrap up the season.

Fans can vote once per day online through Wednesday (2/21) night.
Girls basketball sectional ticket information:
The gymnasium at B-PC HS has a seating capacity of 2218. Tickets will be available via the GoFan app for $7 and at the door for $8 if cash. The gates will open approximately 60 minutes before the start of the first game. (5:00 P.M. on Tuesday and 6:00 on Friday.) I will have QR codes hanging up at the gate. Tickets = $7.00 via the GoFann App and $8 cash at the door. (As set by the I.H.S.A., this includes all children, with the exception of a baby in arms.)

High school boys basketball - the boys game vs Abingdon-Avon will now be played Friday, February 16.
The Junior High Scholastic Bowl match at Stark County on 2/13/24 has been canceled.
The Annawan School District will need to amend the calendar for this school year. The change will take place with the April 26th, 2024 11:35 dismissal date. This date will no longer be an 11:35 early dismissal. It will be a full attendance day for students.
Please mark your calendars! No early out in April! If you have any questions, please call the school office.

Junior High Boys Basketball - Congratulations to the 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team for winning the 2024 IESA Visitation Regional. They advance to the 2024 IESA Annawan Sectional on Monday February 5 vs Peoria St. Jude. Game time is 6:30 PM in the high school gym.

Please congratulate Lin Ebbert and Amanda Kuelper on their recent hires! Mrs. Lin Ebbert will replace Sandy Crosby at the end of the school year as the Grade School secretary. Mrs. Amanda Kuelper will replace Brenda Gripp as the High School secretary. Brenda and Sandy will be missed for their many years of dedication and loyalty to Annawan CUSD #226. We believe Amanda and Lin will be wonderful additions to our school family. Congratulations to Lin, Amanda, Brenda, and Sandy!
