High school boys basketball - The Braves varsity basketball team will play on Wednesday (2/19) in the 3rd place game of the LTC Tournament at Princeville vs Bureau Valley. Game time is 6:00.
High School Girls Basketball - With their 54-43 win over the R-W Cougars, the Bravettes advance to the ROWVA-Williamsfield Regional semi-final vs Wethersfield on Monday, February 17. Game will be played in Williamsfield. Game time is 6:00PM.

The JHVB game scheduled for today (2/12) has been postponed until 2/20. Game time is 6:00 at ROWVA HS.

ACT and pre-ACT Testing - Tuesday, April 8
As part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and Illinois State accountability requirements, all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are required to participate in statewide testing each spring. Starting this spring, Illinois will administer the ACT as the state-required exam. For Juniors, this also serves as a free opportunity to take the ACT and report it to prospective colleges and universities.
Freshmen will take the preACT 9, Sophomores will take the pre-ACT and Juniors will take the ACT.
Please note this is a date change from the calendar highlight sheet that was out at registration.
Parents please do not schedule appointments or travel for this day (April 8).
Annawan boys basketball has been nominated for the FM 95 Hometown Heroes of the Week.
This is a community voted award, with the winning team for the week advancing for a chance at winning $1,000 for their high school's athletic department when we wrap up the season.
