Dear Annawan School Community,
The Annawan School District will hold its regularly scheduled March Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, March 18 at 4:30 p.m. in the Media Center.
Over the past several months, we have seen increased public interest in our board meetings, primarily due to discussions regarding the athletic cooperative. With that in mind, I wanted to provide some clarity regarding the agenda for the March 18 meeting.
The Wethersfield Board of Education has its regularly scheduled meeting on March 19. Currently, the Wethersfield District is reviewing the results of their survey and continuing discussions with members of their school community. Because their board meeting takes place after ours, we do not anticipate receiving any updates from Wethersfield prior to our meeting.
As a result, the cooperative will not be included as an agenda item for the March 18 meeting, and no action regarding the cooperative will be taken at that time.
We will continue to keep our school community informed as new information becomes available.
