This past week, the Annawan School District was able to successfully have both the high school graduation ceremony as well the 8th grade promotion ceremony. Both ceremonies took place outside on the football field where families were able to sit six feet apart across the field. The bleachers were set up for the graduating seniors and 8th grade students keeping them socially distanced from each other.
The district was pleased to offer these events for the seniors and 8th graders now that Illinois has moved to Phase 4.
