Annawan Jr. High and High School Collected $1,968 for Local Food Pantries
The school community came together in an inspiring show of generosity, donating an incredible $1,968 during this year’s Annual Cash Drive to support local food pantries. Students, staff, and families all contributed, demonstrating compassion and a shared commitment to helping neighbors in need.
The funds raised will go directly toward providing food and essential resources for local families, especially during the winter months when demand is highest. School leaders expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and pride in those who helped make the drive such a success.
The Annawan preschool and elementary grades collected items to drop off and visit the food pantry to understand the importance of donations.
This year’s Cash Drive highlights the kindness and generosity of our students, staff, and families and the positive impact a caring school community can make beyond the classroom.
