Annawan Junior and Senior High School is proud to announce that three students have been selected to participate in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Festival. This event brings together talented student musicians from across the state who audition for the opportunity to perform in a concert ensemble.
Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding achievement:
Ava Hakes – Selected for the Junior High Treble Chorus as Soprano II
Peter Wied – Selected for the Junior High Band for Trombone
Makayla Smith – Selected for the Senior Chorus for Soprano II
These students will represent Annawan at the ILMEA District Festival, which will take place on November 8th at Augustana College. We wish them the best as they prepare to perform with other top student musicians from the region!
