Annawan High School is proud to announce that English teacher Mrs. Jill Huber has been selected as a GenerationAI Luminary Award Winner, a prestigious national honor recognizing leaders who are shaping the future of education through the innovative use of artificial intelligence.
Mrs. Huber is one of only ten recipients of this award nationwide and will be recognized this summer at the ISTELive Conference (International Society for Technology in Education) in San Antonio, Texas. The award celebrates her pioneering work in integrating AI into education and her commitment to helping both students and educators navigate and embrace this transformative technology.
In addition to her classroom work, Mrs. Huber serves as a National Education Association Leader, where she has made a significant impact by promoting AI literacy, ethical implementation, and practical classroom integration. She has collaborated with students, fellow teachers, and educational leaders to champion responsible and effective uses of AI in schools.
