Annawan Kiwanis Members presented BUG (Bringing Up Grades) Awards to fourth and fifth graders January 10th at the Annawan Grade School. Students must raise a grade (example: C to a B) while maintaining the rest. Students pictured who received awards from left in the front row are fourth graders Connor Baze, Kiahna Camp, Pierce Childs, Cassidy Clark, Cole Dynes and Tessa Gripp. In the 2nd row are fourth graders Myer Heitzler, Jaton Huber, Cale Jahns, Elynn Manuel, Bennett Sierens, Owen Stabler, Owen Vance and Miles Wied. In the back row are fifth graders Caiden Anderson, Dominic Carton, Ellis Kraft and Kiwanis members Albert Hulting and Terry Lancaster who presented the awards. The students are taught by Lisa Spivey and Ann Heller. Absent from the photo was fourth grader, Bella Chagala.
