The Playground has been officially opened with a ceremony this past Tuesday evening. Matt Nordstrom presented the playground to community members who showed up for the event. Mr. Nordstrom discussed the entire process, thanking Unity Point, the Annawan Town Board, as well as those responsible for private donations. There was also a special thanks to Rachel Childs, ACES, VanOpdorp Trucking and Excavating, Anderson Enterprises, and all the community members who have helped us through this process.
While there is still more work to do, we are proud to have the playground open and ready to be used!
