Reading Out Loud Contest – Good work Ladies!!

Samantha DePauw and Grace Sturtewagen proudly represented Annawan High School in the regional Poetry Out Loud contest on Sunday, February 18. The Poetry Out Loud contest is a national contest where students from all over the United States memorize poems and recite them from memory, starting at the local level, and then moving to the regional, state, and national level depending on their placing at the previous level. Grace Sturtewagen won the regional Poetry Out Loud contest, consisting of western Illinois schools, and will be representing Annawan High School at the STATE contest on March 9 in Springfield, IL.
